Welcome to Year 3 and KS2!

We are delighted to welcome all of our children and families to Year 3 and the start of their exciting journey in KS2. This is a wonderful new chapter, full of opportunities to learn, grow and shine.

We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead, filled with fun, discovery, friendship and achievement. Year 3 is a big step, and we know it is going to be an amazing year for everyone.

We can’t wait to see all the wonderful things our children will accomplish. Here’s to a happy, successful and exciting year together!

🌟 Week 2! What an Amazing Week in Year 3! 🌟

We have had another fantastic week in Year 3, and the children have continued to impress us with their hard work, enthusiasm and independence! 👏

📚 English: We have been slowly revealing our new book, building lots of excitement and curiosity! The children have now met the main character and have done some brilliant writing exploring the character’s thoughts and feelings. We have loved hearing all of their wonderful ideas!

🔢 Maths: We have been working hard on place value. The children have shown us just how independent they can be when tackling their maths work and have demonstrated some fantastic understanding. Well done, Year 3! ⭐

🙏 RE: We have been learning about the Creation story and exploring how God created the world. The children have shared some thoughtful ideas and produced some lovely work.

🎨 Art: We have been developing our shading techniques, experimenting with different ways to create light and dark tones. We have some very talented artists in Year 3!

It has been a brilliant week, and every child should feel very proud of what they have achieved. Keep up the amazing work, Year 3 — we are so proud of you! 💛

🌟 What an Amazing First Week in Year 3! 🌟

What a fantastic first week we have had in Year 3! 🎉

The children have settled in brilliantly and are already doing a great job of following our classroom routines and behaviour expectations. It has been wonderful getting to know everyone and seeing such positive attitudes towards their learning.

This week, the children have already started to show us some of their amazing maths and reading skills 📚➕, and we have also enjoyed getting creative in the afternoons, producing some beautiful artwork that the children should be very proud of! 🎨✨

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the year. Keep up the fantastic work, Year 3!
