Anti-Bullying Policy
Statement of Intent
At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School & Nursery, we believe that bullying is an anti-social behaviour that affects everyone. We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all members of our school community so they can learn and work in a relaxed and secure environment without fear of being bullied.
We actively promote a climate of co-operation and positive behaviour to reduce the number of incidents and likelihood of bullying occurring. This will enable our pupils and staff to reach their full potential.
Bullying of any kind is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. If bullying does occur, all pupils and staff should be confident to tell someone about it and know that all incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively. We are a TELLING school. This means that anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell someone they trust.
