The Pupil-Led Liturgical Team at Our Lady of Lourdes plays a vital role in fostering a spiritually enriching environment within our Catholic primary school community. Committed to promoting active student involvement in liturgical celebrations, the team members are responsible for planning and leading various religious and spiritual activities throughout the school year. This role provides students with an opportunity to deepen their faith, leadership skills, and sense of responsibility within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Liturgical Planning: Collaborate with the school's RE lead, teachers, and fellow team members to plan and organise liturgical events, including Masses, prayer services, and special religious observances.

2. Participation in Liturgical Celebrations: Actively participate in liturgical celebrations.

3. Assist in Decorating: Help decorate the school chapel or designated worship spaces for liturgical seasons and special occasions, ensuring a reflective and prayerful atmosphere.

4. Music Ministry: Participate in the school choir and lead or assist in providing hymns and liturgical music during Masses and prayer services.

5. Readings and Reflections: Prepare and deliver readings, reflections, and prayers during school Masses and prayer services, conveying the message effectively and meaningfully.

6. Promote Faith Formation: Encourage fellow students to actively engage in their faith through regular prayer, attending religious education classes, and participating in sacramental preparation.

7. Outreach and Service: Collaborate with the school's outreach programs and engage in service projects that promote Catholic values and Catholic Social Justice Teachings.
