Supporting St Mungo's Homeless Charity

 

We organised a section of the school fair by setting up four Christmas stalls. We sold our handmade decorations and tasty cupcakes to raise funds for Saint Mungo's Charity, helping out those who need it most. I

Christmas Card Competition - December 2023

Leading in Prayer - Advent 2023

 

The Mini Vinnies  a crucial role in fostering a sense of compassion and social responsibility among young individuals, emphasizing that charity involves not only material aid but also spiritual engagement. One significant aspect of their mission is prayer. Putting their faith into action, the Mini Vinnies often lead during whole school masses. Through their involvement, they inspire their peers to connect with their faith on a deeper level and to contemplate the values of love, kindness, and service to others.

Harvest Food Collection - October 2023

Our Mini Vinnies,  played a pivotal role in collecting, packing, and distributing the donated food to SUFRA foodbank. They worked diligently to ensure that your donations reached those who require assistance the most, making a positive difference in the lives of many.

Reducing Food Waste - July 2023

 

Our dedicated Mini Vinnies group has taken proactive steps to combat food waste within our school community. They spearheaded an innovative project, including a compelling assembly and an engaging poster competition, all aimed at raising awareness about the importance of reducing food waste. Their passion and commitment have not only inspired fellow students but have also made a significant impact in promoting a culture of sustainability and responsible consumption within our school.

Sufra Food Bank - April 2023

During the Lenten season, The Mini-Vinnies organised a school-wide food collection. This food was collected and donated to Sufra food bank to support those who are struggling with the cost of living crisis. The Mini-Vinnies visited the local food bank to help stock and package the food.
