PARENTS INFORMATION
NSPCC - Speak Out. Stay Safe
Mr McCarthy and Mrs Kent each delivered an assembly from the NSPCC encouraging children to speak out and stay safe if something is happening to upset them. Each assembly was tailored to either EYFS/Key Stage One or Key Stage Two and addressed themes including privacy, what is abuse and what to do if you or someone you know is being mistreated. The children responded with consideration and respect. You can find out more about the NSPCC Speak Out. Stay Safe. campaign here and watch an "at home" follow up assembly here:
Here are some of the wonderful posters designed by children in each class following the assemblies. They remind us of these important messages:
- Abuse is not OK!
- Private parts are private
- If you are worried, call Childline - 0800 1111
- Speak out. Stay Safe.
