On behalf of the Children, Staff and Governors,  I would like to take this opportunity to extend you a warm welcome to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School & Nursery.

Rooted in Gospel values, our school is very ambitious.  Everyone works together to create an educational experience that enables all our pupils to achieve their academic potential.  Pupils also develop an understanding of their importance and responsibilities as global citizens through the teachings of Jesus Christ and Caritas in Action.

We aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through our supportive pastoral environment. With a clear focus on mutual respect for all, we aim to educate the ‘whole’ child by providing an enriched, energetic, creative curriculum rooted in the 21st Century skills.  Our enthusiastic and dedicated teachers and support staff ensure that the curriculum offers a wide range of learning experiences based on the needs of each individual child. 

We have high expectations of our pupils’ behaviour, not only in school, but as ambassadors in our local community.  Pupils are proud to wear Our Lady of Lourdes uniform when representing the school during educational trips and events.

Our aim is that your child’s time here at Our Lady of Lourdes will equip them with the knowledge, skills and determination to become lifelong learners and achieve their goals. As a faith community it is our mission to support each pupil to continue to grow in the love of Jesus Christ and be beacons of His love.
