Our Lady guides us as we have fun learning together, aiming to be the best that we can be.
May I take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School.
I am incredibly proud to have been appointed as the new Interim Headteacher of such a friendly and successful school. Our school is rooted in the Gospels where our children live out the Gospel Values as true disciples of Jesus. It is the pupils, staff and parents that make this school what it is today.
The years spent at Primary School are the most important years in every child’s life, therefore a positive partnership between home and school is of paramount importance to ensure the happiness of your children.
Our Lady of Lourdes pupils are a delight! They are hardworking, inquisitive, caring and imaginative. We have high expectations of excellent behaviour based on the teachings of Jesus Christ through the Gospels. We aim for our school to be an extension of the family unit by providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment for your child to learn and grow.
We aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through our supportive pastoral environment. With a clear focus on mutual respect for all, we aim to educate the ‘whole’ child by providing an enriched, energetic, creative curriculum rooted in the 21st Century skills. Our excellent teachers ensure that the curriculum offers a wide range of learning experiences based on the needs of each individual child.
It is our aim that your child’s time here at Our Lady of Lourdes will see them growing in the love of Christ, and equip them with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to continue to thrive throughout this and the next phase of their education - our children today, will be our leaders of tomorrow.
We understand the importance of choosing the right school for your child, therefore please come and visit our school so you can see first hand our happy, safe and nurturing environment.
I look forward to meeting you all soon.
