Year 2 have continued programming using Lego WeDo
This term Year 2 have been constructing Lego WeDo models and then programming the computer to control them. This is the first time that Year 2 have used the Lego kits here at OLOL!

Year 2 have been using bee-bots to learn about turns and following a route. They have navigated bee-bots around a treasure map and a simple maze and have used this knowledge to move an on-screen turtle using resources found in easy.uso.im.

In the second half of the autumn term we have been using Espresso Coding to make our own apps. We are hoping to be able to show you these shortly!

In the first half of the autumn term we have been using bee-bots to learn about directions. We have then completed some activities on the computer that have helped us to see what happens when we do this on-screen.
