The children had to build a bridge as a team for their science challenge. They had to make it higher than 10cm with two towers on the side. The bridge had to stand for more than 10 seconds. Many groups were successful!

Here are the children's adapted story maps. They then wrote their own poems using the adaptations.
The children have now adapted the story of Room on the Broom with their own 3 characters that replaced the cat, witch and the dog. They also chose an object instead of the broom. They came up with some great ideas and changed the poem to their own. They presented their adapted poems to the class.
